lemlist Pricing (2026): Email Volume, Seats and Monthly Cost for Small Teams

lemlist’s Email plan is $69/mo for 50,000 emails whatever your team size, and campaigns pause at that cap. Multichannel Expert: $109 per user (Oct 2026).

On this page 15 sections

With lemlist you first choose how you’ll be charged: by the emails your whole team sends in a month on the Email plan, or per person on Multichannel Expert, the plan that adds LinkedIn and calls. This page prices both, credits included and before VAT, for a solo founder, a team nearing 50,000 emails a month and two multichannel reps, from lemlist’s own pages as checked on October 2, 2026.

Quick answer

lemlist’s Email plan costs $69 a month for 50,000 emails ($55 billed yearly), whatever your team size, and Multichannel Expert $109 per user a month, before VAT (checked October 2, 2026). Campaigns pause if your team reaches the Email plan’s cap, and Email includes no data credits: finding up to 400 emails a month adds $20.

lemlist

Best fit if you want an email plan priced by volume rather than by user, or LinkedIn and call steps alongside email. Card-free for 14 days, the trial runs on Multichannel features with 200 one-time credits and 50 emails a day (lemlist help, checked October 2026).

What pricing plans does lemlist offer?

lemlist sells three plans to new customers: Email, priced by your team’s monthly email volume; Multichannel Expert, priced per user; and Enterprise, quoted by sales. Quarterly billing takes 10% off and yearly billing 20%.

Prices checked October 2, 2026 on lemlist’s pricing page and help center, in US dollars, excluding VAT. Yearly total is the per-month yearly price × 12. lemlist’s pricing page opens with yearly billing selected, so the first Email price you see is $55, not $69. Vendors change pricing often; lemlist’s plan guide was last updated September 24, 2026. On September 30, 2026, the upgrade dialog inside a lemlist trial account showed the same Email (50,000 tier) and Multichannel Expert prices for all three billing periods (our trial notes below).

All three plans list CRM integrations (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive), Zapier and the API.

Is lemlist priced per user?

Only Multichannel Expert and Enterprise are priced per user. The Email plan is priced by how many emails your whole team sends in a month, with unlimited users, so adding a teammate doesn’t change the price.

If you’ve seen an email-only lemlist price quoted per user, or one that isn’t among the five Email tiers in the table above, it most likely describes one of lemlist’s older plans. lemlist’s help center calls Email Starter and Outreach Scale legacy plans, and says Email Pro isn’t being discontinued for the customers who already have it, who stay at their current pricing; new customers can only buy Email, Multichannel Expert or Enterprise. lemlist says the new Email plan has Email Pro’s features except the add-on for extra email addresses, which it no longer needs because senders are unlimited.

Other details that point to an older plan:

  • The names Email Starter, Email Pro or Outreach Scale.
  • Credits included with an email-only plan. Email Pro accounts created before December 18 (lemlist doesn’t give the year; its Enterprise note uses December 18, 2025) get 1,000 credits per seat per month; the current Email plan includes none.
  • Enterprise with 1,500 or 2,500 credits a month. That’s what Enterprise teams created before December 18, 2025 keep. New Enterprise teams get 400 per user per month.

Multichannel Expert adds one rule that affects cost: all the sending addresses connected to an account have to be one person’s (lemlist calls it “1 account = 1 person”), so several reps can’t share one paid seat.

Can you switch between the Email and Multichannel plans later?

Not directly. The two plans can’t run in the same team and the switch button is greyed out, so you either start a new team on the other plan or ask support to move your subscription.

  • New team (lemlist’s recommended route): you move contacts, companies and unsubscribe lists over by hand.
  • Through support: lemlist’s finance team makes the switch and credits unused time.
  • Billing is unclear. lemlist’s plan guides say your billing date stays the same and a prorated adjustment applies, but the same plan guide’s troubleshooting section says the new plan starts a fresh 30-day billing cycle immediately. Ask support which applies before you switch.
  • Don’t cancel and rebuy on your own: lemlist says you’d pay the full price of the new plan with no credit for unused time.

The same restriction applies to older plans such as Email Starter and Outreach Scale. If LinkedIn or calls are likely later, weigh that move against the price gap: for one user billed monthly, Multichannel Expert costs $40 more than the Email plan’s 50,000 tier ($109 against $69), though it includes 400 credits a month that the Email plan doesn’t.

How much does lemlist cost per month? Three small-team scenarios

Before VAT and at October 2026 prices, a solo founder on the Email plan pays about $89/month with 2,000 credits, a team nearing 50,000 emails a month pays $138 on the 100,000 tier with 5,000 credits, and two multichannel reps pay $233–$273. None of the totals include the mailboxes and domains you send from, such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365; our guide to the sending layer of a cold outreach stack covers those.

Billed yearly$71/month ($852 a year)$110/month ($1,320 a year)$229/month*

Our arithmetic from lemlist’s pricing page and help center, checked October 2, 2026, in US dollars, excluding VAT. Mailbox volumes use 30 emails a day, the rate lemlist’s sending-limits guide says a new mailbox should open at, and 22 sending days a month, our assumption. *lemlist doesn’t publish quarterly or yearly prices for phone numbers or WhatsApp, so they’re added at the monthly price.

  • Scenario 1. The 50,000 tier leaves a lot of headroom. At 30 emails a day over 22 sending days, one mailbox sends about 660 emails a month, so 50,000 covers about 75 mailboxes, or about 56 at the 40 a day lemlist’s guide sets as the ceiling once a mailbox has a month of clean sending behind it (more in our guide to daily volume per mailbox). The founder’s three mailboxes send about 1,980 emails a month, within the email allowance of the cheaper entry plans in the comparison below (check their contact limits too). lemwarm is included; bought on its own, lemwarm Essential costs $29 per email address per month.
  • Scenario 2. The cap counts replies and one-off emails typed in lemlist’s inbox and contact panel as well as campaign emails, so a team sending 46,200 from campaigns has about 3,800 left for everything it writes by hand. Past the cap, active campaigns pause for the whole team. Starting on the 100,000 tier costs $20 more a month billed monthly ($89 against $69), $18 billed quarterly and $16 billed yearly. Staying on the 50,000 tier and upgrading when you get close also works, because an upgrade applies the same day with credit for the unused part of your period (the next section works through what a mid-period upgrade costs). Neither tier charges for the number of people sending.
  • Scenario 3. The 800 included credits cover up to 160 found emails or 40 phone numbers a month for the whole team, and they reset monthly. Calls beyond each user’s 400 minutes cost 4 credits a minute (32 for premium destinations). The WhatsApp add-on starts with a 14-day trial that turns into the paid add-on unless you cancel.

lemlist

Best fit if you’ll send more than about 6,000 emails a month or need LinkedIn and call steps: Scenario 2’s team sends about 46,200 campaign emails a month for $138 with 5,000 credits, and adding teammates doesn’t change the price. The Email plan starts at $69/month billed monthly or $55/month billed yearly; prices exclude VAT (as of October 2026).

What happens when you hit the Email plan’s monthly limit?

Active campaigns pause automatically, your team admin gets an email, and lemlist offers an upgrade the next time you log in. The limit is team-wide and counts every email sent from campaigns, the inbox and the contact panel combined, so replies you type by hand use it up too.

  • Upgrading to a higher tier takes effect immediately. You pay the full price of the new tier minus the unused part of your current billing period. Your sending counter restarts at 0 under the new limit, and your billing date moves to the day of the upgrade.
  • Downgrading takes effect at the end of the current billing period, with no pro-rata refund.

Worked example. A team on the 100,000-email tier, billed monthly at $89, hits the cap on day 20 of a 30-day billing period. Upgrading to the 200,000 tier that day costs about $159 − ($89 × 10/30) ≈ $129.33, charged right away. The counter starts again at 0 of 200,000, and the next $159 renewal is counted from the upgrade date. lemlist doesn’t publish its exact proration formula, so treat this as an estimate.

How much do lemlist credits cost?

From about 3 to 7 cents per found email, depending on how many credits you buy and how you pay. Credits pay for data and usage features: 5 for each email lemlist finds and 20 for each phone number, deducted only when a search returns a result. Per credit, prices run from about $0.0063 (200,000 credits billed yearly) to $0.014 (a one-off top-up of 2,000 or 5,000 credits); the 2,000-credit monthly add-on works out at $0.01 a credit.

Prices from lemlist’s credits guide, checked October 2, 2026, excluding VAT. Subscription prices are per month, charged at the frequency you pick; billed quarterly, the seven tiers cost $18, $44, $85, $203, $397, $750 and $1,411 a month. Per found email = price ÷ (credits ÷ 5), rounded to a tenth of a cent; a phone number costs four times as much. A one-off top-up works out at $0.056–$0.070 per found email. lemlist’s pricing page says “$1 in credits covers 20 emails or 5 phone numbers”, which matches the 2,000-credit monthly rate.

What each action costs:

  • Email finder and verifier: 5 credits, only when it returns a deliverable or risky email.
  • Phone number finder: 20 credits, only for a valid, active number.
  • AI variables: 1 credit per valid result, or connect your own OpenAI key to use your API credits instead.
  • LinkedIn enrichment: 1 credit in the credits guide, although the pricing page’s comparison table lists “Unlimited LinkedIn enrichment” on every plan.
  • SMS: 6 credits per message; lemlist blocks SMS sending when the sender doesn’t have enough credits. Calls beyond your included minutes: 4 credits per billed minute, 32 for premium destinations, charged only for connected calls.
  • Signal agents (buying signals): between 1 and 100 credits, depending on the signal type.

Buying intent signals are also sold as their own add-on. Next to the Enrichment add-on, lemlist’s pricing page lists a “Buying intent signals” add-on: 100 signals a month for $29 a month billed monthly ($23 a month billed quarterly, $21 billed yearly), with larger packs on the same page, and “pay per success, with unlimited signals rollover.” The credits guide doesn’t mention this subscription and charges Signal agents in credits instead, so ask lemlist which applies to the signals you plan to use.

The rules that change the bill:

  • Order used: the credits included with your plan go first, then Enrichment add-on credits, then one-off top-ups, then credits lemlist gifts you.
  • Rollover: included plan credits reset every month. Add-on credits roll over with no limit while the add-on stays active. Top-ups and gifts roll over and stay in the account even after your plan ends. The pricing page’s line that “unused credits roll over” is true of the credits you buy, not of the ones included with a plan.
  • Yearly doesn’t mean upfront: paying for the Enrichment add-on quarterly or yearly lowers the monthly price, but credits still arrive once a month.
  • Separate subscription: the Enrichment add-on has its own billing cycle, and cancelling your lemlist plan doesn’t cancel it. If you cancel the add-on, its credits expire on your next anniversary date. Purchased credits are non-refundable.
  • One pool: the whole team draws from one balance, only admins can buy credits, and per-user credit limits exist only on Enterprise.

If you mostly need contact data rather than sending, set these per-email costs against the way Apollo’s credits work.

Is lemwarm included, and what does lemwarm cost on its own?

lemwarm is included with every paid lemlist subscription, but not with the free trial. lemlist’s billing guide says lemwarm Essential comes free with every active subscription and isn’t an add-on, and lemwarm’s own site says it’s “included free with every lemlist plan”. The trial guide, though, says email warming “requires a paid plan”.

Standalone lemwarm planBilled monthlyBilled quarterlyBilled yearly
Essential$29$26$24
Smart$49$43$40

Per email address per month, from lemwarm’s pricing page, checked October 2, 2026. lemwarm’s pricing page doesn’t say whether VAT is included.

You’d pay for lemwarm separately only to warm mailboxes you don’t send from with lemlist. lemlist’s billing guide names Essential as the included tier and doesn’t say whether Smart’s extras are available inside lemlist. If you cancel lemlist, warming stops along with sending when the billing period ends; if you also pay for lemwarm on its own, cancel that too. If you send from another tool, check its own warmup first: Instantly’s pricing page lists unlimited email warmup and Smartlead’s lists a warmup pool on the plans compared below. For what warmup does and doesn’t fix, see our warmup and ramp-up guide.

Does lemlist have a free trial or a free plan?

Both, but only the trial can send. lemlist has a 14-day free trial with no card required, and after it a Freemium plan that can’t launch or send campaigns.

lemwarmNot includedNot included
Who gets itNew accounts or new teams, onceTrial users who don’t upgrade, and paid users who cancel

From lemlist’s trial, Freemium and cancellation guides and its pricing page FAQ, checked October 2, 2026.

Two catches. What you trial is Multichannel Expert at 50 emails a day, not the Email plan: lemlist’s plan guide says the trial is only available on Multichannel Expert, even though the Email card on the pricing page carries a “Start free trial” button. So the first time you see the Email plan’s 50,000-email cap at work is after you’ve paid $69 for a month (or $660 for a year). And lemlist’s guides disagree on when Freemium starts: its trial guide says after 14 days, its Freemium guide says once the 200 trial credits are used up.

Can you pay monthly, in euros or pounds, and is VAT included?

Monthly, yes, or quarterly and yearly for 10% and 20% off. Euros and pounds, yes, as well as US dollars. VAT, no: it isn’t in lemlist’s prices and is added at checkout, based on your billing address.

  • Currency. lemlist’s pricing overview says you choose the currency from a dropdown on the pricing page, but the page as we fetched it on October 2, 2026 showed only US dollar prices and no currency choice; it lists “Local currency billing ($, €, or £)” as a feature. Admins can change the billing currency for future charges in Settings > Billing & Users > Billing Info, and the upgrade dialog inside the app has a currency selector (it was set to US dollars in our trial account on September 30, 2026). We haven’t recorded euro or pound prices, so we can’t say whether they’re straight conversions.
  • VAT number. If you have an EU VAT number, add it in Billing Info before your first invoice: a VAT ID added later applies only to future invoices, and issued invoices can’t be changed. lemlist points you to your VAT return for past invoices.
  • Other taxes. The billing articles we read mention only VAT. How US sales tax or Canadian and Australian GST is handled isn’t published there.
  • Payment. Payments go through Stripe. Paying by wire transfer or SEPA, and paying a yearly plan in monthly or quarterly installments, are listed as Enterprise-only features.
  • The cost of yearly billing. On the 50,000 tier, yearly saves $168 a year ($660 instead of 12 × $69 = $828). In exchange, lemlist says auto-renewal charges generally can’t be refunded except in exceptional cases, and domains and mailboxes bought through lemlist are non-refundable. If you cancel, you keep access until the period ends, then drop to Freemium. Tier changes are lopsided too: an Email-plan upgrade applies the same day, with credit for the unused part of your period, but a downgrade waits for the period to end, which on yearly billing can be up to a year away. So a tier that’s too small is the easier mistake to fix.

Nine questions to put to lemlist before you pay. Its pricing page and help center answered each of them two ways on October 2, 2026:

  • Does the trial include lemwarm? The pricing page says lemwarm is included “in all plans”; the trial guide says email warming “requires a paid plan”.
  • Is SMS part of Multichannel Expert? The comparison table ticks “SMS + phone number” and the plan card lists “SMS automation”, but the pricing FAQ calls SMS and WhatsApp add-ons, and the credits guide charges 6 credits per SMS.
  • How are buying signals charged? In credits, 1 to 100 per signal, says the credits guide; the pricing page sells a separate “Buying intent signals” subscription counted in signals.
  • Does a switch between Email and Multichannel keep your billing date? Yes in one paragraph of the plan guide; a new 30-day cycle starts at once in another.
  • Does LinkedIn enrichment use credits? “Unlimited” in the comparison table, 1 credit in the credits guide.
  • How big is the lead database? “650M+” on the pricing page, “450M+” for Multichannel Expert in the plan guide. What reaches your bill is how many searches return an email, since the 5 credits are charged only then.
  • When does Freemium start? After 14 days in the trial guide, once the trial credits run out in the Freemium guide.
  • Can you pick euros or pounds on the pricing page? The pricing overview describes a currency dropdown there; the page as we fetched it had none.
  • Can you trial the Email plan? Its card carries a “Start free trial” button; the plan guide says the Email plan has no trial.

When is another tool cheaper than lemlist?

When you send only email and no more than 5,000 to 6,000 a month: up to those volumes, Smartlead Base ($39 a month for 6,000 sends and 2,000 stored contacts) and Instantly Growth ($47 for 5,000 emails and 1,000 uploaded contacts, with team invites only from the $97 Hypergrowth plan) cost less than lemlist’s $69 Email plan. Past them, their next plans ($94 for 90,000 sends and $97 for at least 100,000 emails) cost more than lemlist’s 50,000 and 100,000 tiers ($69 and $89), so from there up to about 100,000 emails a month lemlist Email is the cheapest of the three, and yearly billing doesn’t change the order ($55 and $71 for lemlist, $32.50 and $78.30 for Smartlead, $37.60 and $77.60 for Instantly). Neither vendor’s pricing page lists LinkedIn steps or says whether tax is included (list prices in US dollars, checked October 2, 2026; for Instantly, see what its terms say about currency, tax and refunds); for what separates Instantly and lemlist beyond price, see how the two compare on deliverability, LinkedIn steps and integrations.

Who lemlist is not for:

  • Email plan: you want the lowest entry price for a few thousand emails a month; you want LinkedIn or calls without paying per user; or you expect to switch between Email and Multichannel later.
  • Multichannel Expert: a team where only some people need LinkedIn or calls. The two plans can’t share a team, so either everyone who sends pays for a $109 seat or you run, and pay for, two teams. It also doesn’t suit several people hoping to share one account.
  • Either plan: you mainly need contact data, not sending. A dedicated database may fit better (see what a contact costs on Apollo).

How we researched this

We first read lemlist’s pricing page, in all three billing periods, and the thirteen lemlist help-center articles behind this page on September 29, 2026, five days after nine of those articles had been updated. On October 2, 2026, we read all of them again, along with lemwarm’s, Instantly’s and Smartlead’s pages: every lemlist price, limit and rule on this page still matched, including in the credits guide and the phone-number guide, which lemlist updated on September 29 and 30. Every lemlist figure here comes from those pages, never from reviews or comparison sites. On September 30, 2026, an AI browser assistant working in our own lemlist trial account recorded the trial’s length and credits and the prices in the in-app upgrade dialog, which matched the pricing page (notes above); nothing was sent or bought. Checkout, VAT, euro and pound prices and mid-cycle upgrades are still described from lemlist’s help center rather than from use, and every total is our arithmetic from list prices before VAT. Where lemlist’s documents contradict each other, both versions appear in the questions to put to lemlist.

lemlist’s two billing models shape the verdict. Your team’s monthly email volume picks the Email tier and decides whether a flat-price entry plan elsewhere costs less; the number of people sending matters only on Multichannel Expert, where each one is a paid seat; and needing LinkedIn or calls is what puts you on Multichannel Expert at all. That is also why the comparison above names and links Smartlead’s entry plan: under 6,000 emails a month it’s the cheaper choice, whatever either vendor pays us.

Verdict

Pick lemlist if you send more than about 6,000 emails a month or need LinkedIn and calls in one sequence; below that, a flat-price tool’s entry plan is cheaper.

  • lemlist Email is good value once your volume passes the cheap entry plans: $69/month covers 50,000 emails for unlimited users, and it’s the cheapest of the three tools here from about 6,000 to 100,000 emails a month. Budget $20 or more a month for credits if you need to find contacts, and size the tier on total volume, inbox replies included.
  • lemlist Multichannel Expert earns its per-user price only when LinkedIn or call steps are part of your outreach: $109 per user/month, plus $15 for a rented number and $20 per user for WhatsApp if you use them, which is how Scenario 3’s two reps reach $273.
  • Smartlead or Instantly fit if you send only email, a few thousand a month. Smartlead Base ($39, 6,000 sends) is the lowest entry price here; Instantly Growth ($47, 5,000 emails, 1,000 contacts in campaigns at a time) suits a single sender.

lemlist

Best fit if you send more than the 5,000–6,000 emails a month that flat-price entry plans cover, or your campaigns need LinkedIn messages and calls as well as email. There’s no card to enter for the 14-day trial and no automatic charge when it ends, but it sends at most 50 emails a day, so it tests your setup rather than your volume (lemlist help, as of October 2026).

FAQ

Do managers who don’t send need a paid seat?

No. On the Email plan every user is included at no extra cost. On Multichannel Expert, someone who only oversees can use a free guest seat (up to 5 per account; unlimited on Enterprise). A guest admin can still build campaigns and manage contacts, and a guest member can view reports and campaigns, but neither can send.

Does lemlist offer discount codes?

No code is published: neither lemlist’s pricing page nor its plan guide mentioned a coupon or promo code when we read them on October 2, 2026. The upgrade dialog inside the app does have an “Apply coupon code” option (seen in our trial account on September 30, 2026), but lemlist doesn’t publish a code to enter there. The crossed-out prices on the pricing page are its yearly rate. The page opens on yearly billing, so the Email plan’s $69 appears struck through next to $55, and the Enrichment add-on’s $20 next to $16. If you find a code elsewhere, check what it actually applies to before you pay.

Do lemlist campaigns stop when your credits run out?

No. Enrichment pauses right away for the whole team, but campaigns keep sending. After an admin adds credits, you restart enrichment manually.

Can I send from my own Google or Microsoft mailboxes?

Yes. All three plans list Google, Microsoft and SMTP connections. Buying domains and mailboxes inside lemlist is optional, and lemlist’s pricing page doesn’t show what they cost.
